Heat Pumps: Efficient All-In-One Heating & Cooling

Heat pumps provide high-efficient, energy-saving heating & cooling for year-round comfort by transfering heat from a source (either from the air or from the ground - also known as Geothermal) rather than creating the heat. This process is much more efficient (200% to 500% efficiency) compared to a conventional electric, gas, oil or propane system (typically 80% to 95% efficiency). That means lower operating costs and more money in your pocket each month. Don't forget to ask about available tax credits & utility rebates!

Benefits of Heat Pumps

  • Most advanced and efficient heating and cooling system available
  • Keeps your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer (no need to buy an AC!)
  • Saves money on your monthly energy bills
  • Expected lifespan of an average of 10-25 years (depending on the system you choose)
  • Come in a variety of types and efficiencies, so you can choose which one is best for your home

Types of heat pumps to choose from:

  • Air Source Heat Pump uses an outdoor unit and outside air to transfer the heat. It is the most common electric heat pump.
  • Ground Source Heat Pump (Geothermal) uses the near-constant temperature of the earth for its heat source. It uses special water piping and the earth to transfer heat.
  • Ductless Mini Splits small in size and ideal for heating & cooling individual rooms that do not have access to duct work.
