Air Conditioning Systems Built for Spokane Summers

Spokane’s summer temperatures can rise quickly, placing significant demands on residential cooling equipment. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair services designed to keep homes comfortable during the hottest months of the year.

Many Spokane homes were built before air conditioning became standard. As homeowners renovate older properties or modernize existing systems, cooling requirements often change. Proper equipment selection helps improve comfort while avoiding unnecessary energy consumption.

Heating Solutions for Inland Northwest Weather

When winter temperatures settle across Spokane County, a dependable heating system becomes one of the most important components of the home. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides furnace installation, maintenance, and repair services for homeowners throughout Spokane.

Neighborhoods across Spokane contain homes built over many decades, often resulting in significant differences in insulation, airflow, and heating performance. Our technicians evaluate the entire system before recommending solutions that match the home’s specific needs.

Efficient Heat Pump Upgrades & Replacements

Homeowners looking for an alternative to traditional heating and cooling systems increasingly consider heat pumps. We install, maintain, repair, and replace heat pumps designed to provide efficient comfort throughout the year.

With advances in cold-weather performance, heat pumps have become a practical option for many properties throughout Spokane. Proper system design is essential to maximizing both comfort and efficiency.

Airflow Improvements Through Professional Duct Services

Conditioned air must move efficiently throughout the home to maintain consistent comfort. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides air duct inspections, repairs, sealing services, and replacement solutions designed to improve airflow and overall system performance.

Many Spokane homes have experienced additions, basement finishing projects, and floorplan changes that can affect airflow. Addressing ductwork concerns often resolves comfort problems that homeowners mistakenly attribute to HVAC equipment.

Healthier Indoor Air Starts at Home

Indoor air quality affects the comfort and livability of a home throughout the year. We install indoor air quality solutions including filtration systems, air purifiers, ventilation products, and humidity management equipment.

Wildfire smoke, seasonal allergies, dust, and tightly sealed homes can all contribute to poor indoor air quality. Improving air quality can help create a cleaner and more comfortable indoor environment.

Ductless Systems for Hard-to-Condition Areas

Not every part of a home is designed for traditional ductwork. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning installs and services ductless mini-split systems for homeowners looking to improve comfort in specific spaces.

Converted attics, bonus rooms, detached structures, home offices, and additions are common throughout Spokane. Ductless technology allows homeowners to add heating and cooling without major structural modifications.

HVAC Maintenance That Protects Your Investment

Routine maintenance helps homeowners avoid unexpected breakdowns while improving long-term equipment performance. Our HVAC maintenance programs are designed to identify developing issues before they become larger repair concerns.

The Inland Northwest’s seasonal temperature swings require HVAC equipment to perform in vastly different conditions throughout the year. Preventative service helps maximize reliability and efficiency.

Electrical Services for Modern Living

Today’s homes demand more from electrical systems than ever before. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides electrical services that support both HVAC equipment and general household electrical needs.

Many established Spokane neighborhoods contain homes that were built long before modern electrical demands became standard. Upgrades can improve safety, functionality, and future readiness.

Professional Plumbing Services for Spokane Homes

Reliable plumbing is an important part of everyday comfort. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides professional plumbing services including repairs, installations, replacements, and system improvements.

Spokane’s housing stock ranges from century-old homes to newly constructed residences, creating a wide variety of plumbing needs. We help homeowners address issues before they become disruptive or expensive.

Humidity Control for Increased Comfort

Indoor moisture levels affect both comfort and indoor air quality. We install whole-house humidifiers and dehumidifiers designed to improve indoor living conditions.

Dry winter air is a common concern throughout Spokane. Proper humidity management can improve comfort while helping protect wood furnishings and interior finishes.

Zone Control Systems for Customized Comfort

Every home experiences temperature differences between rooms and living areas. Our zone control systems allow for more precise comfort management throughout the home.

Large homes, split-level designs, daylight basements, and multi-story floorplans often benefit from zoning technology. These systems allow different areas of the home to operate independently.

Businesses throughout Spokane depend on reliable HVAC equipment to support daily operations. R&R Heating & Air Conditioning provides commercial services including installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement solutions.

From downtown offices to industrial facilities and retail locations, commercial properties have unique comfort and operational requirements. Our team helps businesses maintain dependable system performance.

Questions Spokane Homeowners Ask Before Investing in Home Comfort Improvements

Should I upgrade my HVAC system before remodeling an older Spokane home?

Many remodeling projects change how a home uses and distributes conditioned air. Evaluating heating, cooling, and ductwork requirements before construction begins often prevents future comfort issues and costly modifications later.

Why do some Spokane homes have comfort problems even after installing new equipment?

Equipment is only one part of the comfort equation. Ductwork, insulation, airflow balancing, humidity levels, and thermostat placement can all impact performance, even when the HVAC system itself is new.

How can I lower heating costs during Spokane winters without sacrificing comfort?

Improving efficiency often requires a combination of equipment performance, maintenance, airflow improvements, insulation, and thermostat management. Identifying the biggest sources of energy loss typically produces the best results.

What should I evaluate before purchasing a home with an older furnace?

Equipment age, maintenance history, repair frequency, efficiency ratings, and overall system condition should all be considered. A professional inspection can help identify future replacement needs before closing.

Is it worth upgrading electrical systems when replacing HVAC equipment?

Many modern comfort systems place different demands on electrical infrastructure than older equipment. Evaluating electrical capacity during an HVAC replacement project can help homeowners prepare for future improvements and technology upgrades.

How do I know when comfort issues are being caused by ductwork rather than the HVAC equipment itself?

Uneven temperatures, weak airflow, excessive dust, and rooms that never seem comfortable can sometimes point to ductwork issues rather than equipment failure. A complete system evaluation can help determine the source of the problem.

“I interviewed several HVAC companies before choosing R&R, looking for the best one to install a new high-efficiency furnace and AC unit. Lead installer Jared and his team, Drake and Walter, did a great job. Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, professional, and courteous. Kudos to install manager Rex, who answered my many technical questions about the new system in advance, and Angelina, who coordinated everything. My husband and I were really impressed. We also felt the price was very fair and competitive. New HVAC systems are expensive, but this great team earned every penny. Highly recommended.”

“Brandon serviced my furnace and fireplace today. The furnace needed a couple of extra requests, and Brandon addressed both like they were issues in his own home. It gives me great peace of mind going into the upcoming heating season. Thank you Brandon and R & R!

“R&R project manager, Perrin Renfroe, was professional and knowledgeable when assessing my concerns. He was able to correct my main issue on the spot when stopping by at my home today . Thanks, Perrin, for problem solving so quickly. From the moment I called R&R, requesting help, everyone was positive, professional and reacted quickly to solve my issue. Thank-you, R&R!”

“I asked for bids from 4 HVAC companies in the Spokane area. Two of the 4 responded and R and R provided a superior bid. I needed both the conditioned and return air ducts from the old heat pump to removed during the first visit and new ducts installed two days later after new HVAC equipment was in place. There are very specific dimensions that needed to be adhered to for the new equipment. In order to provide an accurate quote the Install Manager arrived to understand and plan the duct replacement. During his 2 hour visit he examined documentation and measured ducting requirements, and designed the replacement ducting. I discussed with him the need for noise reduction as the old system is very noisy. He especially designed a non standard 90 degree portion of the return air duct as a noise reducer. Removal of the old duct required about 3 hours of labor as the ceiling is 14 feet high and located in a small room with the heat pump, a water filtration system, water nitrate remover and softener, and 3 each 86 gallon well water pressure tanks. Installation of the new ducts was an all day job. The new heat pump was activated 5 days ago and I can no longer hear the heating system running anywhere in my home. I do have partial hearing loss. My son commented on how quite the new system is. I am very pleased with the professionalism of every employee that worked on this system. I highly recommend R and R.”

“I highly recommend this company. They were hired to install a completely new HVAC system. The sales team was professional and delivered in every promise. The installation team – Jerry and Walter – were very respectful of my home and very patient with challenges as they arose. They let us know when they were on the way, kept to regular hours so as not to disturb us and were completely competent in their jobs. They went above and beyond – putting plastic and paper down to minimize mess and even brought us cookies! Once work was complete, they took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Then…as if all that wasnt enough, we received a thank you note in the mail from the company hand signed by the team. Superior service! We were blown away and would say you are in great hands when working with R and R.”
- Kristy H.
“Your company is sending ADVERTISEMENTS to my cellphone? Whose stupid idea was THAT? I will never use your service and thanks to this email I will make sure to always warn everyone I know to NEVER use your service. Jerks.”
- Bob L.
“Alban was very knowledgable, professional, and took the time to answer all of our questions. We look forward to being a continuing customer in the years to come.”
