Gas Furnaces
Older, less efficient furnaces cost you more to heat your home each month. Typically, around 44 percent of your utility bill goes toward heating & cooling. So if you’re looking to save money on energy costs, the first place to find savings is with your HVAC system.
A new energy-efficient gas furnace or heat pump is a smart way to invest in your home and plays a big part in keeping your utility bills down. You might be surprised how much money your older, inefficient unit is wasting each month as it tries to keep your home warm. Wouldn’t you rather keep that extra money you’re currently sending to the utility company?
Our Comfort Advisers can help you sort all these factors so you can make an educated decision if it’s time to replace your current system. We install Carrier gas furnaces for residential use. Our certified technicians are trained to service & repair any model of furnace, regardless of what brand it is or who installed it.
Needing some help on deciding whether it’s time to replace your old system and install a newer more efficient one? Or whether your heating system just needs a repair? Check out our infographic, here.

Carrier Infinity 98 - Gas Furnace
Carrier Infinity 98 – Gas Furnace
The Infinity® 98 furnace delivers precision comfort with Greenspeed™ intelligence. This is the most advanced Carrier® furnace ever made. Its unique design innovations achieve unprecedented efficiency and quiet.
Greenspeed intelligence is created by pairing adaptable-speed technology with our Infinity control’s intelligence. The unique, modulating gas valve of this unit, when managed by the Infinity control, allows it to literally adapt its output to the needs of the home. With tiny, 1% adjustments between 40 and 100% capacity, it gives the home only the amount of heating necessary.
This allows the furnace to operate longer at steadier, lower capacities, which ensures incredible energy efficiency and quiet operation with tighter temperature control than standard furnaces.
Variable-speed blower operation is a part of the Greenspeed equation while also enhancing other system components. It’s the best choice for boosting air conditioning system efficiency and improving summer dehumidification.

Repair or Replace?
Sometimes a little service is all you need to stay up and running. But how do you know when it’s time to bite the bullet and invest in a new system rather than put money into an old one? To be able to determine if it’s time to invest in a new furnace, you really need to look at three factors:
Your furnace efficiency – How old is your furnace? Has it received regular annual maintenance or has it been ignored over the years? You might be surprised how much money your inefficient furnace is costing you each month.
The costs of fuel – Are you currently using gas, electric, oil or propane to heat your home? Is the cost of that fuel trending upward? What do you project fuel costs to be 5, 10, or 15 years from now?
The “heat load” of your home – How much energy is required to keep the inside of your home a steady 65-degrees (or whatever temperature is comfortable to you)?
