“I'd like to share an experience and "heads up" for homeowners. Recently had a pre-heating season inspection from Cougar Mechanical that indicated that the heat exchanger in my 15 year old gas furnace was defective (cracked) and recommended replacement of the furnace (about $13,000). Because of the cost I asked R&R for another bid and to repeat the inspection to ensure repairs/replacement was necessary. Randy came to the house the next day and arranged for a technician to also come and conduct an inspection of the heat exchanger. No cracks or leaks were detected and their equipment showed there was no defect with the heat exchanger. I''d like to thank Randy Huffier and Alban Sejflu for their professionalism and rapid, friendly service. That saved this retired ( i.e. fixed income) homeowner a bundle. Thanks again.”
